A Sweet Romance Recommendation for February

Someone recently asked me if I ever read romance. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, it got me thinking about my recent reads and whether any fit the bill. One that immediately came to mind was Book Lovers by Emily Henry, a gift from a friend. It’s a fun, fast read that follows the comforting formula of a great Hallmark movie. Since Hallmark cards are basically a Valentine’s Day essential, it felt like the perfect pick.

What unfolds is a classic enemies to lovers romance that plays with familiar tropes while exploring career, family, and what love really looks like.

To me, Valentine’s Day is about love in all its forms. Not just romantic love, but the love of family, friends, kids, pets, and being kind to yourself.
